Rising to an Uncertain Future

This is a loooong overdue birthday present for m'college , who has given me many encouraging words as well as many interesting conversations. The feline pictured here is the Iberinan lynx, a species that is one of the more endangered animals on Earth. As with all other creatures, it can attribute its origin to the Earth, and as with all other creatures as well, each day it lives in an uncertain present, each tomorrow is an uncertain future.
Of course, as humans, we have great power in deciding what the shared future of lynxes, humans, and all the other flora and fauna will be.
